Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Royal Vista Tours & Holidays, we believe in building trust through complete transparency. We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly due to flight rescheduling, weather conditions, or personal emergencies. This comprehensive Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the exact terms and conditions under which booking modifications, cancellations, and monetary refunds are processed for our local and outstation taxi services.

1. Advance Payments & Booking Confirmations

While many of our local Jaipur sightseeing tours and airport drops do not require an upfront payment, long-distance outstation cabs (e.g., trips to Delhi, Udaipur, Agra) or bookings made during peak festive seasons may require a nominal advance payment to secure the vehicle and chauffeur.

If an advance payment is collected, it is held securely and applied directly to your final travel invoice. This advance secures your vehicle from being assigned to other customers.

2. Cancellation by the Customer

If you need to cancel your reserved cab, we request that you notify our dispatch desk as early as possible so we may reassign the driver to another duty. Refunds on advance payments are processed based on the following timeline:

• Cancellation 48 hours or more prior to pickup time: You are eligible for a 100% refund of your advance payment (minus a nominal 2% to 3% deduction if the payment was processed via an external third-party payment gateway).
• Cancellation between 24 to 48 hours prior to pickup time: You are eligible for a 50% refund of your advance payment. The remaining 50% is retained as a cancellation fee to compensate the assigned chauffeur for lost wages.
• Cancellation less than 24 hours prior to pickup time: No refund will be issued. At this stage, the vehicle has already been cleaned, prepped, and the driver's schedule has been permanently blocked for your journey.

3. Cancellation by Royal Vista Tours & Holidays

We pride ourselves on an exceptional track record of punctuality and fulfillment. However, in extraordinarily rare circumstances, we may be forced to cancel a booking. These situations include, but are not limited to, sudden vehicular breakdowns, extreme weather events preventing safe travel on highways, or sudden government-mandated travel restrictions.

In the event that Royal Vista Tours & Holidays cancels your booking prior to the start of the journey, you will receive a 100% full refund of any advance payments made, with no deductions whatsoever. Furthermore, we will make every effort to assist you in finding alternative transportation arrangements.

4. The "No-Show" Policy

A "No-Show" occurs when our chauffeur arrives at the designated pickup location at the requested time, but the passenger fails to board the vehicle or cannot be contacted via the provided phone number within a reasonable waiting period (typically 45 minutes for airport pickups and 30 minutes for hotel/residential pickups).

In the event of a No-Show, the booking will be treated as a last-minute cancellation. The chauffeur will be recalled to the base station, and strictly no refund will be provided for any advance payments made. We urge customers to keep their contact numbers active upon arrival in Jaipur to avoid miscommunication.

5. Mid-Trip Shortenings & Route Modifications

Our outstation taxi fares are strictly calculated based on industry-standard minimum daily kilometers (e.g., 250 km per day). If a customer decides to cut an outstation trip short (for example, booking a 4-day Rajasthan tour but deciding to return to Jaipur after 2 days), the customer remains liable to pay the minimum daily kilometer charges for the originally contracted duration.

Route modifications requested by the passenger during the trip that add extra kilometers will be billed at the standard per-kilometer rate displayed on our fleet page.

6. Refund Processing Timeline & Methods

Once a cancellation request is approved by our management team, the refund process is initiated immediately.

• Processing Time: Approved refunds are strictly processed within 5 to 7 business days.
• Payment Method: Refunds will be credited back to the original source of payment. If the advance was paid via UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), the refund will be routed to the exact same UPI ID. For direct bank transfers, it will be remitted back to the originating bank account.
• Cash advances given physically at our Jaipur office must be collected in person during normal business hours.

If you need to initiate a cancellation or inquire about the status of a pending refund, please immediately contact our 24x7 dispatch desk via WhatsApp or phone call at +91 82332 19478.
